Ezviz Camera offline Error: How to fix it?
When you see Ezviz camera offline, not to worry as this can be easily fixed. However you need to ensure that your network is working properly and the camera is receiving good signal strength at the point of installation. There can be external signal interference issues due to which your device will continue loosing wifi connectivity. Also you need to make sure your Ezviz App is upto date and the camera has enough battery power other wise charge the camera battery first. Here is what you can do to resolve Ezviz camera offline problems.
- Start device offline troubleshooting by Checking the indicator light on the device. If the light is solid blue or slowly flashing blue, refresh the home page in the Ezviz App. If the light is slowly flashing red follow the best step.
- Reboot: Yes, rebooting most of the times help to resolve the issue instantly, all you need to do is reboot your device, unplug it from power source for 30 seconds and the plug it back in and also reboot your router. This can eliminate connectivity conflict and fix the Ezviz device offline issue.
- If the problem is not resolved and you have one or two cameras offline, try hard reset or factory reset the cameras by pressing and holding the reset button for 4-5 seconds. The cameras will go to configuration mode again and see if the device is able to back online now. Alternatively you can perform reset from your App as well, Open your Ezviz App and simply tap the three-dot icon to go to the Device Settings page and tap the Wi-Fi button. - Next step, check the firmware of your camera. You can do this by going to Device Management > Advanced Settings > Maintenance > Upgrade. If the device stays connected after upgrade you are good to go, however, if issue not resolved or no update available go to next step. Check for Update available for both camera and NVR. You can connect your camera using Ethernet cable to look for firmware update.

If it does, you can disable the Enable DHCP button to modify the IP address and see if the device is gets back online. If not go to next step.
- Hard reset your NVR, there is an Reset button at the back of your NVR, press and hold it for 6-7 seconds and then reconfigure your cameras again. Remember that with this step you will have reconfigure all the cameras again. With resetting the device we are trying to set all parameters to default, So press and hold the button for 6s until the LED indicator starts fast -flashing red.

obstacles like microwaves, washing machines, and Bluetooth devices. Update your firmware and app: Ensure that both your EZVIZ app and firmware are up to date.
- Change your Wi-Fi channel: Try changing to a less crowded Wi-Fi channel.Disconnect unused devices: Try disconnecting some devices from your router that you don't use often.
- Use an Ethernet cable: If your camera supports an Ethernet cable, try connecting it with one.Reset your camera: Press and hold the reset button on your camera for about 5–10 seconds to reset it. Then, you can reconnect it to your Wi-Fi using the EZVIZ app.
